Through a partnership between Nicor Gas and Commonwealth Edison (ComEd), residential customers of both utilities are now eligible for cash rebates when installing both a qualifying furnace and central air conditioning system.
All products must meet the energy efficiency levels specified by the program in order to qualify. Rebates range from $200 to $250 depending on the product purchased, and customers are encouraged replace both their furnace and air conditioner to receive rebates on both products.
Application must be postmarked (or submitted online) no later than 90 days after the initial installation date, or by June 15, 2013, whichever comes first. Offer is valid for qualifying equipment purchased and installed June 1, 2012, through May 31, 2013, or until funds are depleted. Learn more at nicorgasrebates.com.
